360 Lodge Wedding Story You Won’t Forget
A couple called me last year to book their wedding at 360 Lodge, and I remember thinking right away—this feels different. She was so sweet, just genuinely excited, and they were flying in from out of state, trying to find somewhere in the mountains that actually felt doable. National parks turned out to be too complicated, so when they found this place, it just made sense.
But here’s the part I loved—they didn’t do a traditional wedding. The day before, they hiked up to Lamoille Lake and had their ceremony there with just their parents. No big production. Just them, which honestly says a lot about who they are.
The next day, we met at 360 Lodge and photographed everything as if it were their wedding day. I love it when couples do this. It takes all the pressure off and lets us actually enjoy what we’re doing.

A Slow Start and Real Moments
When I got to 360 Lodge, the vibe was calm. No rushing around, no chaos. His mom helped him with his bow tie, and her mom helped her get into her dress. Those moments are always my favorite—they’re simple, but they matter.
Now, the weather… completely overcast, thick fog, and not a lot of light to work with. It was one of those days where the fog just eats everything. It definitely challenged me, but at the same time, it made everything feel really moody in a good way.
At one point, her mom showed me her necklace with a photo of her parents. The way she talked about it—you could tell how important it was. That moment stuck with me.
Snow, Champagne, and Just Having Fun
We stepped outside 360 Lodge for portraits, and it was freezing. Then it started snowing on us. We didn’t stay out long, but honestly, it didn’t matter. They just leaned into it, and we got some really cool, dramatic shots.
Then easily my favorite part of the day—they threw on their robes, grabbed champagne, and ran to the hot tub. No planning, no overthinking. Just them having fun. Those are still some of my favorite photos I’ve taken at 360 Lodge.
That’s why I loved this day so much. It wasn’t traditional, it wasn’t perfect, but it felt real—and that always wins.
