An Historic Old Schoolhouse Wedding

Wedding

Bride and Groom in Lamoille

Old Schoolhouse weddings carry an old-world charm, and Bailey and Stettson Wells’ wedding day fit that perfectly. Their day felt historical and meaningful, set in downtown Lamoille at the old church for their ceremony and then the Old Schoolhouse for their reception. From start to finish, the day unfolded naturally and felt true to who they are.

Bride and Groom in Lamoille The morning started with getting ready at Bailey’s home. It was relaxed and comfortable, which made the transition into the rest of the day feel easy. After that, we headed to the old church for portraits. The church added so much character, and it immediately set the tone for the day. Soon after, guests gathered outside for the ceremony. Bailey and Stettson exchanged vows with the old church behind them, and the shadow from the steeple cast across the space as they said their vows. It was simple, meaningful, and emotional without needing anything extra.

Once the ceremony ended, we stayed close by for family and bridal party portraits. That made everything feel smooth and stress-free. We had a lot of fun during this part of the day, and everyone stayed relaxed and present. Nothing felt rushed, and that made a big difference.

Reception at the Old Schoolhouse

After portraits, we made our way to the Old Schoolhouse for the reception. The space had a clean aesthetic with vibrant orange hues that worked perfectly with the autumn air. The historic feel of the building paired so well with their style and the overall tone of the day.

Some people had everyone laughing, while others shared stories that brought tears. Those moments added so much heart to the evening and really reflected how loved this couple is.

Throughout the night, Bailey and Stettson stayed present and connected with their guests. They moved around the room easily, talking with family and friends and taking everything in. The celebration never felt overly structured. Instead, it felt natural and comfortable.

A Wedding That Felt Like Them

From the old church ceremony to the reception inside the Old Schoolhouse, this wedding felt beautifully rustic and historic. Every location fit their personalities and reflected their old souls. The day didn’t try to be anything it wasn’t. It stayed simple, meaningful, and intentional.

As the evening went on, people lingered, conversations continued, and the celebration settled into a relaxed rhythm. Ending the night celebrating at the Old Schoolhouse felt like the perfect way to close out a wedding day that captured both Bailey and Stettson so well.
