Lamoille Spring Maternity Session
Lamoille showed off for this session, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better day. The flowers had just started to bloom, so everything felt fresh but still simple. Right away, we leaned into a clear idea, and as a result, the entire session flowed easily. Jordan came in with a vision, which always makes a difference.
She wore a beautiful maternity dress that moved perfectly with the light. At the same time, she wanted something a little more fun, so we planned a picnic-inspired setup. That idea came from Pinterest, and it translated so well in this setting.
A Picnic-Inspired Setup
For this Lamoille session, we kept everything intentional and easy. Jordan brought a cake, fresh fruit, and flowers, while I brought the plates, glasses, and a blanket. Together, it came together in a way that felt styled but still natural.
Then, as we moved through the session, everything transitioned smoothly, and nothing felt forced. The light shifted just enough, so the shadows added depth without taking over. Also, the open space gave us room to adjust, which helped us follow the light instead of fighting it.
Because of that, the entire session stayed relaxed, and we were able to get a full gallery without rushing.

Why Lamoille Works So Well for Sessions
Lamoille continues to be one of my favorite places to shoot, especially in the spring. The mix of soft blooms and open land gives you flexibility, while still feeling clean and natural. However, timing matters, so the best time for photos is about an hour before sunset, and I always help build that into your timeline.
If you’re looking for a beautiful but more hidden Lamoille location, I have a few spots I’ve found over the years that I’d love to take you to. Also, I provide a client closet for moms, which makes getting ready so much easier.
In the end, everything came together in a way that felt effortless, and Lamoille gave us exactly what we needed.
