As an Elko family photographer, this kind of work is truly a treat for me. Family sessions fill my cup in a way few things do. From little ones holding mom and dad’s hands to teens who bring their own energy. Because of that, I approach each session with intention.
What to Expect From an Elko Family Photographer
As an Elko Family Photographer, I first focus on comfort. I play music, we dance a little, and I let the excitement build naturally. Little ones
love movement, so it helps them relax and feel at ease. Also, before your session, I ask questions about what your kids love. There’s a reason for that. When I know their interests, I can meet them where they are, talk about what excites them, and build trust quickly. Because of that connection, kids open up—and that’s when real moments happen.
Next, we play games and let things unfold. I capture candid moments when no one expects it. Sometimes kids cry, and that’s okay. I can work through that, because that’s real life. And honestly, I believe real life belongs on our walls.
Planning Locations That Feel Right
As an Elko Family Photographer, scouting for locations is part of the job. In addition, I help plan the best locations for your session. During Spring, the college blooms beautifully. Then, in Summer and Fall, Lamoille shines. I love walking through Lamoille town and heading up to Powerhouse. These places work so well because they feel natural and relaxed.
Most of all, I keep things fun. I don’t want stiff images of everyone staring at me. Instead, I want connection, movement, and honest emotion. That’s what I aim for every time I photograph a family. If you’re looking for an Elko family photographer who values real moments, real connection, and real life, I would love to create that with you.
